We got an offer for the most amazing unit yesterday. My husband signed his half of the paperwork yesteday and paid the first month's rent, then I came along and did my bit this afternoon. We also paid the bond today. So, it is ours!!!
I'm utterly thrilled. We find out tomorrow when we get to move in, as it may well be as early as this weekend (depending on the previous tenant). So here's hoping, as this weekend would be a lot more convenient than the date they originally gave us (which is October 4th, when I have my heart procedure).
So, fingers crossed that it continues to go the way we want! Especially given that I've started getting my things sorted. The stuff of mine that's in the kitchen has (mostly) been moved onto the dining table and needs to be packed up.
So, here's hoping :-)
