Weed 'n' feed. That stuff had better work, given how much I've probably inhaled over the past few days. This morning I used a few kilos on the patch of green right near our front door. It's mostly weeds, and I want them all to DIE. Then I want to oversow with some grass seeds.
This had seriously better work. I'm not a very experienced gardner, so I may have just destroyed the whole thing, but at least that gives me the opportunity to start from scratch.
On the other hand, my tomato plant is ripening! They're slowly changing from green to orange! Should I get some netting to protect it from birds? Also: Anyone know how you can tell when your compost is ready to be put on the garden?
