Check out what I made!!!
Jul. 3rd, 2011 08:42 pmI made a pretty lining for my bike basket! =D My sewing skills are so amazing!!!

It's held to the basket in two ways: The ties that hold the back to the hooks which go over my handlebars and the drawstring which is in the base of the flap. The basket being narrower at the bottom makes this a good way of keeping it attached.
I'm still amazed it worked - this is exactlywhat I pictured in my mind when I was figuring out how to make it! I did it with no pattern - just a measuring tape and some tailor's chalk. The base is a little smaller than I'd like, but it works very well none the less :-)
I also made Recipe #27. It was from a book of vegetarian recipes that I got a few days ago. It consists entirely of mushrooms, garlic, double cream and gorgonzola cheese. It is incredibly rich and tasty. Love it :-)
