May. 8th, 2011 06:25 pmRecipe #18 is Chateaubriand. I did it a little bit unorthodoxly in that I used porterhouse instead of tenderloin and I didn't strain the sauce like the recipe said. I also used mixed Italian herbs instead of tarragon, because I hate that stuff. It smells like liquorice tea, which is just gross. Even my husband, who likes liquorice, didn't like the herb.
My taste testers, like me, seem quite satisfied so I'm happy and I call this a success :-)
