nimthirielIt has been a crazy week! We brought the kitten home on monday. She wailed all the way home in the car and wet herself. It went all down my leg.
Smudge freaked out. There was a lot of hissing and growling and animosity. It was only on Friday that he let her get close, and yesterday they spent the whole day playing. We're now teaching her household rules, which is going to take ages. She already knows what they are, so a simple "ah-ah!" is usually enough to make her stop doing something, but it doesn't keep her from trying again. She's stubborn. But really cute!
What this means is that the majority of the week's photos are of the cats. You'll have to bear with me!

Monday: We had just brought her home. I managed to take this self-portrait, with some effort!
Tuesday:
Wednesday: A curious kitten, looking out at the world. Not that she can see much through the frosted glass...
Thursday This is the closest Smudge had ever let her get!
Friday: This is a playground in a park across from where my husband works. I went to have lunch with him, just because I can :-)
Satrday: And suddenly, they're friends.
Sunday: I'd say this one speaks for itself!
So that's a week in pictures! Hopefully they'll become more varied as I go :-)
